Setting up automatic updates

Log in to https://[servernaam].srvnl.nl:8443.
📖 More info: How to find out which server you're on

In the right menu, click WordPress.
Next to the WordPress site you want to configure, click Autoupdate Settings.
Fill in the form as follows:

Update WordPress automatically: Yes, but only minor (security) updated
Update plugins automatically: Individually configured, but security updates are automatically installed
Update themes automatically: Individually configured, but security updates are automatically installed

Click OK to save your changes.
Finally, enable the Smart Update option.

📌 Recommended: We recommend the settings above to keep your site secure and up-to-date.

🧠 What is Smart Update?

Smart Update first tests updates on a clone of your live WordPress site before applying them.
If issues are detected, you will be notified, allowing you to decide whether to proceed with the updates.
This helps ensure your site remains stable and secure.

📌 Important:

Replace [servernaam] with the server your hosting package is hosted on.
A backup is always automatically created when installing updates. If you manually install updates, we recommend making a backup beforehand.
