Securing WordPress with SSL

Follow the steps below to secure your WordPress website with an SSL certificate:

1. Log in to your WordPress website via voorbeeld.cc/wp-admin or voorbeeld.cc/wp-login.php, enter your username and password, and click Log In.
2. In the left menu, click Plugins.
3. Next to the Plugins title, click Add New.
4. In the Search Plugins... field at the top right, search for Really Simple SSL and press Enter.
5. When Really Simple SSL appears, click Install Now.
6. After installation, click Activate.
7. You will be redirected to the plugin, where you’ll see the pop-up Almost ready to migrate to SSL! Click Activate SSL.
8. Click Skip.
9. Finally, click Go to Dashboard.

Your website is now secured with SSL! 🔒 You will see a padlock appear in the address bar when visiting your website.

• After clicking Activate SSL, you may be asked to log in again.
• Replace voorbeeld.cc with your actual domain name in this guide.
