# Add a Domain Name – WordPress Hosting

### Adding a Domain Name

1. Log in at `https://[servernaam].srvnl.nl:8443`.

2. Click the **Add Domain** button at the top.
3. Choose **Empty Website** (you can also choose to install WordPress directly).
4. Fill out the form as follows:
   
* **Registered domain name:** Enter your domain name, e.g., `voorbeeld.cc` (without `www`, `http://` or `https://`).
* **Hosting space:** Select the WordPress Hosting package you want to link it to (if applicable).
* **Hosting type:** Choose **Website hosting**.
* **Enable DNS service:** Check this box.
* **Enable mail service:** Check this box if you want to send and receive emails via this domain.

5. Under **Hosting Settings**, we recommend not changing anything unless necessary.
6. Click **Add Domain**.

The domain name will now be added. This process may take a few minutes.  

✅ Make sure your domain name is pointed to the nameservers of the server hosting your package.

* Replace `voorbeeld.cc` with your actual domain name.
* Replace `[servernaam]` with the name of your hosting server.
