# Add Domain Pointer

### Add Domain Pointer

1. Log in at `https://voorbeeld.cc:2222` (or use [Single Sign-On (SSO)](/en/article/logging-in-to-hosting-package-via-single-sign-on-sso-1biycbb/)).
2. At the top right, select the domain name you want to forward to from the drop-down menu.
3. Under **Account Manager**, click **Domain Pointers**.
4. Click the green **ADD DOMAIN POINTER** button at the top right.
5. Fill out the form as follows:

* **Source Domain:** enter the domain name you wish to add.
* **Destination Domain:** automatically filled with the domain selected in step 2.

**Alias Setting:**
  
* Turn **Create as Alias** **OFF** if you want `domeinpointer.nl` to redirect to `hoofddomeinnaam.nl`.
* Turn **Create as Alias** **ON** if you want `domeinpointer.nl` to stay visible while showing the site of `hoofddomeinnaam.nl`.

6. Click **CREATE** to add the domain pointer.

The domain name is now linked and will redirect to the selected primary domain.

* Make sure to set the nameservers of your hosting server for the new domain.
* Replace `voorbeeld.cc` with your own domain name in this guide.
