Adding Your Email Address to Mozilla Thunderbird

ℹ️ Note: Before starting, verify that your domain name has a valid SSL certificate and that your login credentials are correct by logging in via webmail.

Click the hamburger icon in the top right and select Account Settings.
At the bottom of the window, click Account Actions and then Add Mail Account....

Fill out the form:

Name: your name or company name.
Email address: your full email address.
Password: your email password.

Click Continue in the bottom right.
Click Manual config... in the bottom left.
Fill out the form:

INCOMING:

Protocol: IMAP
Server: mail.voorbeeld.cc
Port: 993
SSL: SSL/TLS
Authentication: Normal password
Username: your full email address

OUTGOING:

Server: mail.voorbeeld.cc
Port: 465
SSL: SSL/TLS
Authentication: Normal password
Username: your full email address

Click Re-test.
Finally, click Done to add the email account.

Your email address has now been successfully added and is ready to send and receive emails.

ℹ️ Important: In this guide, replace voorbeeld.cc with your own domain name.
