# Adding Your Email Address to Mozilla Thunderbird

### Step-by-Step Guide

1. Click the **hamburger icon** in the top right and select **Account Settings**.
2. At the bottom of the window, click **Account Actions** and then **Add Mail Account...**.

3. Fill out the form:
   
* **Name:** your name or company name.
* **Email address:** your full email address.
* **Password:** your email password.

4. Click **Continue** in the bottom right.
5. Click **Manual config...** in the bottom left.
6. Fill out the form:

   **INCOMING:**
   
* **Protocol:** IMAP
* **Server:** `mail.voorbeeld.cc`
* **Port:** 993
* **SSL:** SSL/TLS
* **Authentication:** Normal password
* **Username:** your full email address

   **OUTGOING:**
   
* **Server:** `mail.voorbeeld.cc`
* **Port:** 465
* **SSL:** SSL/TLS
* **Authentication:** Normal password
* **Username:** your full email address

7. Click **Re-test**.
8. Finally, click **Done** to add the email account.

Your email address has now been successfully added and is ready to send and receive emails.
