# Authorizing a Contact Person – Mijn Xynta

||| ℹ️ **Note:** By default, you are the only authorized person for your account. Authorizing a contact person allows them to independently request support.

### Step-by-Step Guide

1. Go to [Mijn Xynta](https://mijn.xynta.com) and log in with your email address and password.
2. At the top of the page, click **CONTACT**.
3. In the submenu, click **AUTHORIZATIONS**.
4. Click the orange **Authorize Contact Person** button.
5. Fill out the form completely and truthfully.

| 📌 **Explanation:**

* In the **Explanation** field, you can specify what the contact person is allowed and not allowed to request support for. Be as specific as possible.

6. Click the orange **Authorize** button after completing the form.

### After Adding

* The contact person is now authorized.
* Both you and the contact person will receive an email confirming the action.
* The email to the contact person will also explain how they can independently request a support code.
