Change WordPress Password
ℹ️ Important: This article applies to our Web, Reseller, and WordPress Hosting packages.
There are several methods you can use to change your WordPress password. Follow one of the guides below:
Via WordPress
Follow this guide if you want to change your password via WordPress (you must know your current password):
- Log in at
https://voorbeeld.cc/wp-admin
orhttps://voorbeeld.cc/wp-login.php
, enter your username and password, and click Login. - Click Hello [username] at the top right.
- Under User Management, click Set New Password.
- Enter a new password (at least 16 characters, using uppercase, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols).
- Click Update Profile.
Your WordPress password is now changed. You can log in immediately with your new password.
Via DirectAdmin
Follow this guide to change your WordPress password via DirectAdmin:
- Log in at
https://voorbeeld.cc:2222
(or use Single Sign-On (SSO)). - Under Extra Features, click Installatron Applications Installer.
- Under the My Applications tab, click the Wrench icon next to the desired application.
- Enter a new password in the Administrator password field.
- Click Save All.
Your WordPress password is now changed. You can log in immediately with your new password.
Via Plesk
Follow this guide to change your WordPress password via Plesk:
- Log in at
https://[servernaam].srvnl.nl:8443
(see also: How to find out which server you are on?). - In the left menu, click WordPress.
- Click Settings.
- Enter a new password in the New Password field.
- Click Change.
Your WordPress password is now changed. You can log in immediately with your new password.
- Replace
voorbeeld.cc
with your actual domain name. - Replace
[servernaam]
with the name of the server your hosting package is on.
