# Changing Nameserver Settings for Your Domain Name

Follow the steps below to change the nameserver settings of your domain name.

### Step-by-Step Guide

1. Go to [Mijn Xynta](https://mijn.xynta.com) and log in with your email address and password.
2. At the top of the page, click **DOMEINNAAM**.
3. In the overview under **Domeinnamen**, click on the domain name for which you want to change the nameserver settings.
4. Navigate to the **Nameservers** section.
5. Enter your new nameserver settings.

   *(Nameserver 1 and Nameserver 2 are required.)*

6. Finally, click the **Save** button.

### Important Information

* The nameserver change will be processed within about five minutes.
* It may take several hours before the change is visible with all internet providers.
