# Create an FTP User – WordPress Hosting

### Creating a new FTP user

1. Log in at `https://[servernaam].srvnl.nl:8443`.

2. Under **Files & Databases**, click **FTP**.
3. Click **+ Add an FTP Account**.
4. Complete the form as follows:
   
* **Username:** enter the desired username for the FTP user.
* **Home Directory:** specify the folder the FTP user should have access to. Use the button next to the field to select a different directory.
* **Password:** enter the desired password (at least 16 characters, combining uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols).
* **Confirm Password:** re-enter the password.

5. Click **OK**.

✅ The FTP user has now been successfully created and can be used immediately.

* Replace `voorbeeld.it` with your own domain name.
* Replace `[servernaam]` with the server where your hosting package is hosted.
