# Delete a Domain Name

### Delete a Domain Name

1. Log in at `https://voorbeeld.cc:2222` (or use [Single Sign-On (SSO)](/en/article/logging-in-to-hosting-package-via-single-sign-on-sso-1biycbb/)).
2. Under **Account Manager**, click **Domain Setup**.
3. Check the domain name you want to remove.
4. Click the **Delete** button at the top right.
5. (Optional) Check **Delete web data** if you also want to remove associated files and settings.
6. Click **CONFIRM** to permanently remove the domain name.

||| 📌 **Important:**

* At least one domain must always remain linked to your hosting package.
* If you select **Delete web data**, the `domains/voorbeeld.nl` folder, including website files, email accounts, and emails, will be deleted. Databases are not affected.
* Accidentally deleted domain names can be restored within 7 days using our automatic backup.
* Replace `voorbeeld.cc` with your own domain name in this guide.
