# Edit a Domain Name – WordPress Hosting

### Changing the Domain Name

1. Log in at `https://[servernaam].srvnl.nl:8443`.

2. Click on the **three dots icon**.
3. Click **Change Domain Name**.
4. Enter your new domain name in the **New Domain Name** field, e.g., `voorbeeld.nl`.
5. Click the **Change** button.

The domain name has now been successfully changed.

✅ All settings, such as email addresses, subdomains, and the document root ( `/var/www/vhosts/voorbeeld.nl`), are updated to reflect the new domain name.

| 📌 **Note:**

Some website applications depend on the original domain name and document path. You may need to adjust these manually.
