# Enabling Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for Mijn Xynta, DirectAdmin, and Plesk

### Mijn Xynta

1. Go to [Mijn Xynta](https://mijn.xynta.com) and log in with your email address and password.
2. At the top of the page, click **MY ACCOUNT**.
3. In the submenu, click **SECURITY**.
4. Under **Two-factor authentication**, choose your preferred authentication method:
   
* Email
* SMS
* Google Authenticator

5. Fill in the requested information (such as email address, phone number, or verification code).
6. Click the orange **Save** button.

|| 📌 **Important:** 

From now on, you will be asked for a verification code every time you log in. Depending on your chosen method, you will receive the code by email, SMS, or via your authenticator app.

### DirectAdmin (Web, Email, and Reseller Hosting)

1. Log in to your **DirectAdmin** control panel.
2. Under **Advanced Features**, click **Two-Step Authentication**.
3. Click **CREATE SECRET KEY** at the top right.
4. Safely store the **New Secret Set** (this is your recovery key).
5. Scan the displayed QR code with your authenticator app, such as:
   
* Google Authenticator
* Microsoft Authenticator
* Authy

| 📌 **Result:** 

2FA is now enabled. You will be prompted for a verification code when logging in, which refreshes every 60 seconds.

### Plesk (WordPress Hosting)

* Currently, **Plesk** does not support Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for end-users.
* We will update this article as soon as the functionality becomes available.
