Forwarding Your Domain Name to Another URL

⚠️ Important: Forwarding your domain name will overwrite existing DNS settings. Please check carefully before proceeding.



Step-by-Step Guide


  1. Go to Mijn Xynta and log in with your email address and password.
  2. At the top of the page, click DOMEINNAAM.
  3. In the overview under Domeinnamen, click on the domain name you wish to forward.
  4. Click the BEHEREN button.
  5. Click the menu option Doorsturen (Forwarding).
  6. In the Forward to field, enter the internet address you want to forward to (for example: https://jansen2.nl/jansen.html).


❗ Important:


  • Always enter a complete (valid) internet address, including http:// or https://.


  1. (Optional) Choose a forwarding type: 301, 302, or 303.
  2. Under Enable/Disable, select Enable forwarding.
  3. Click the orange Save button at the bottom of the page.


Important Information


  • The forwarding settings usually become active within one minute.
  • Because the nameservers are adjusted, it may take a few hours for the forwarding to work globally.
  • Existing DNS records will be lost once you enable domain forwarding.
