Manually Installing an SSL Certificate


  1. Log in at https://[servernaam].srvnl.nl:8443.

  1. Under Security, click SSL/TLS Certificates.
  2. Scroll down and click Install under Install a free basic certificate provided by Let’s Encrypt.
  3. Fill out the form as follows:

  • Check Secure the domain name.
  • Check Secure the wildcard domain (including www and webmail) (optional but recommended).
  • Check Assign the certificate to the mail domain (optional but recommended).


  1. Click Get it free.
  2. Wait a few minutes and then click Continue.


✅ The SSL certificate has now been generated and will be active on your selected domain and subdomains within a few minutes.


📌 Tip:


  • Only domains and subdomains that are correctly pointed to your hosting package can be issued a free SSL certificate.
  • Make sure your DNS settings are correctly configured before attempting to generate a certificate.
  • Replace voorbeeld.it with your actual domain name and [servernaam] with the server name your hosting package is hosted on.
