Importing a Database Dump or Backup – WordPress Hosting

Via Plesk (recommended)
- Log in at
https://[servernaam].srvnl.nl:8443
.

- In the right-hand menu, click Database.
- Click Import Dump under the database name.
(If the database does not exist yet, create it first.)

- Click Choose File under Upload and select the database backup from your computer.
(Or choose an already uploaded backup under Import.)

- (Optional) Check Recreate the database if importing a full database dump.
- Click OK.
The import process will start. Depending on the size of the database, this may take a few minutes.
Via phpMyAdmin
- Log in at
https://[servernaam].srvnl.nl:8443
. - In the right-hand menu, click Database.
- Click phpMyAdmin under the database name.
- At the top, click the Import tab.
- Click Choose File and select the database backup.
- Scroll down and click Import.
The database will now be imported. This process may also take a few minutes depending on the file size.
