Installing and configuring Solid Security

Follow the steps below to install and configure Solid Security:

Log in to your WordPress website via voorbeeld.cc/wp-admin or voorbeeld.cc/wp-login.php, enter your username and password, and click Log In.
In the left menu, click on Plugins.
Click the Add New Plugin button.
Search for Solid Security in the top right search field.
Click Install Now on the correct plugin, then click Activate.
Under Solid Security Basic, click Settings.
Choose the type of website: in this example, we select Blog.
Decide whether to enable Security Pro. We recommend not enabling it due to potential GDPR issues.
Specify whether the site is your own or for a client. We select My own site.
Enforce a strong password policy for all users. We highly recommend this.
Click Next.
Optionally add extra IP addresses under Authorized Hosts.
Click Authorize My IP Address to automatically add your current IP address.
Click Next.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for additional security.
Click Next.
Click Default User Groups and leave the suggested settings unchanged.
Click Next.
Enter the FROM EMAIL address to send security notifications from.
Finally, click Complete Setup.

Your WordPress website is now protected by Solid Security!
You can further fine-tune the security settings afterwards if needed.

ℹ️ Important: Replace voorbeeld.cc with your actual domain name in this guide.
