# Installing LiteSpeed Cache on your WordPress website

### Step-by-Step Guide

In the steps below, we explain how to install **LiteSpeed Cache** on your WordPress website:

1. Log in to your WordPress website via `voorbeeld.cc/wp-admin` or `voorbeeld.cc/wp-login.php`, enter your username and password, and click **Login**.
2. In the left menu, click **Plugins**.
3. At the top of the Plugins page, click **Add New Plugin**.
4. In the **Search plugins...** field at the top right, type **LiteSpeed** and press **Enter**.
5. Locate **LiteSpeed Cache** (usually the first result). Click **Install Now**.
6. Once installed, the button will turn blue and show **Activate**. Click **Activate**.
7. In the left menu, go to **LiteSpeed Cache** and click **General**.
8. Click **Enable QUIC.cloud services**.
9. Create a new QUIC.cloud account by entering your email address and desired password.
10. Agree to the terms and conditions, then click **Register**.
11. Check your email for the Verification Code.
12. Enter the received code and click **Verify Account**.
13. Click **Finish Link Setup**.
14. In the left menu, go to **LiteSpeed Cache** > **Presets**.
15. Choose **Advanced** and click **Apply Preset**.
16. In the left menu, go to **LiteSpeed Cache** > **Cache**.
17. Navigate to the **[6] Object** tab.
18. Configure the settings as follows:

    * **Object Cache:** On  
    * **Method:** Redis  
    * **Port:** 6379  

19. Click **Save Changes**.

Your WordPress website is now using **LiteSpeed** and **Redis (Object) caching**.  
It may take a few hours before the caching fully optimizes your website.
