# Restoring or Downloading a Backup

||| ℹ️ This article applies to our Web, Email, and Reseller Hosting packages.

You can choose from three methods to restore a backup.

### Restore or download backup (JetBackup)

1. Log in at https://voorbeeld.cc:2222 (or via [Single Sign-On (SSO)](/en/article/logging-in-to-hosting-package-via-single-sign-on-sso-1biycbb/)).
2. Under **Extra Applications**, click **JetBackup**.
3. Under **Restore & Download**, select the type of backup you want to restore or download:
   
* **Full Backups**: entire hosting account
* **Home Directory**: specific files or folders
* **Cron Jobs**: cron job settings
* **Databases**: database restoration
* **Database Users**: database users
* **Domains**: domain-related data
* **Certificates**: SSL certificates
* **Email Accounts**: email accounts
* **FTP Accounts**: FTP accounts

4. Click **Restore** or **Download**, depending on your choice.
5. Click **Restore Selected Items** or **Download Selected Items**.
6. Optionally, check *Merge backup data with live account data* if you want to merge data.

The backup will now be restored. You can monitor progress via the **Queue** page in JetBackup.

### Restore your own backup (DirectAdmin)

1. Log in at https://voorbeeld.cc:2222 (or via [Single Sign-On (SSO)](/en/article/logging-in-to-hosting-package-via-single-sign-on-sso-1biycbb/)).
2. Under **Advanced Features**, click **Create/Restore Backups**.
3. Click **RESTORE BACKUP** at the top right.
4. Select the backup you want to restore.
5. Under **Restore Options**, select the data you want to restore.
6. Click **RESTORE**.

After completion, you will receive a confirmation email and a notification in the message system.

||| ℹ️ **Note:**

To download a DirectAdmin backup, access the `/backups` folder via FTP or File Manager.

### Restore your own backup (Installatron)

1. Log in at https://voorbeeld.cc:2222 (or via [Single Sign-On (SSO)](/en/article/logging-in-to-hosting-package-via-single-sign-on-sso-1biycbb/)).
2. Under **Extra Applications**, click **Installatron Applications Installer**.
3. Go to the **My Backups** tab.
4. Locate the backup you want:
   
* Click **Download** to download it.
* Click **Restore** to restore it.

5. If restoring:

* Click **Proceed** under **Restore to original location** to restore it to the same website.
* Or click **Proceed** under **Restore to a new location** to restore to another domain or subdomain.

6. Confirm the overview and click **Restore**.

You can monitor the progress via the **My Applications** page in Installatron.
