# Securing Your PrestaShop Webshop with SSL

### Securing Your PrestaShop Webshop with SSL

1. Log in to your PrestaShop webshop with your **email address** and **password** and click **SIGN IN**.
2. In the left menu under **Configure**, click **Shop Parameters**.
3. Then click **General** ( **Configure > Shop Parameters > General**).
4. For the **Enable SSL** field, select **Yes**.
5. Scroll down and click the **Save** button.
6. Next, for the **Enable SSL on all pages** field, select **Yes**.
7. Finally, scroll down again and click **Save**.

Your webshop is now secured with SSL.  
When visiting your webshop, you will see a padlock icon appear in the address bar.
