# Magento-website beveiligen met SSL

### Magento-website beveiligen met SSL

1. Log in op uw Magento-webshop met uw **gebruikersnaam** en **wachtwoord** en klik op **Sign in**.
2. Klik links in het menu op **Stores** en vervolgens onder **Settings** op **Configuration** ( **Stores > Settings > Configuration**).
3. Klik links in het menu op **Web**.
4. Klik op **Base URLs**.
5. Zorg ervoor dat de waarde bij **Base URL** begint met `https://`.
6. Klik op **Base URLs (Secure)**.
7. Zorg ervoor dat de waarde bij **Secure Base URL** begint met `https://`.
8. Wijzig de instellingen **Use Secure URLs in Storefront** en **Use Secure URLs in Admin** naar **Yes**.
9. Klik rechtsboven op **Save Config**.

| 📌 **Let op:**

Na het opslaan ziet u een gele melding:  
*One or more of the Cache Types are invalidated: Configuration, Page Cache. Please go to Cache Management and refresh cache types.*

10. Klik op **Cache Management**.
11. Klik bovenaan op **Flush Magento Cache**.

Uw website of webshop is nu beveiligd met SSL.  
Wanneer u uw website of webshop bezoekt, ziet u automatisch een slotje in de adresbalk.
