Download a Backup via Mijn Xynta
⚠️ Important: If you want to download a backup of a folder, file, or database from one of the previous backups we created for you, follow the steps below.

After Starting the Download Task
Go to Mijn Xynta and log in with your email address and password.
Click Managed VPS at the top of the page.
In the submenu, click the fourth option from the left: Back-up.
In the overview, click on the Managed VPS package from which you want to download a backup.
Select the type of backup point:
Files (Folders or Files)
Database
Locate the backup point from which you want to download data.
Click the button with the Download (downward arrow) icon.
Choose which type of backup you want to download:

Download a database
- In the field, enter: Which folder or file would you like to download?
📌 Example:
Do you want to download a backup of the domains folder for the user `jansen`?
Enter: /home/jansen/domains
The backup will be prepared in .tar.gz format and placed on your server in the user's root folder ( /home/jansen).
After filling in the field, click the Download button.
In the field, select: Which database would you like to download?
📌 Example:
Do you want to download a backup of the jansen_databasename database?
The backup will be prepared in .tar.gz format and placed on your server in the user's root folder ( /home/jansen).
After filling in the field, click the Download button.
The backup system will automatically prepare the download within a few minutes.
You can track the progress under Task Queue.
Once completed, you will find the backup in the root folder of the original user.
