Creating a new database

1. Log in at https://voorbeeld.cc:2222 (or use Single Sign-On (SSO)).
2. Under Account Manager, click on Databases.
3. Enter the desired database name at the bottom of the page.
4. Click the CREATE button to create the database.

After creating the database, you will see an overview of:

• Host
• Database name
• Database user
• Password

Make sure to save these details securely.

5. The database and database user are now successfully created.

You can use these details to establish a connection to your database.

The database name and user name will always start with your hosting account username.

For example, if your username is voorbeeld, your database name will look like: voorbeeld_wordpress.
