Creating a WordPress staging environment
Follow the steps below to create a staging environment for your WordPress website:
- Log in to

(or use Single Sign-On (SSO)). - In the Extra Features section, click on Installatron Applications Installer.
- Go to the My Applications tab.
- Click the Clone button next to the application you want to create a staging environment for.
- Fill out the form as follows:
- Domain: select the domain name where you want to install the staging environment.
- Path: leave blank or enter the desired subfolder name.
- Create a Staging site?: check this option ("Yes, the cloned installation will be used for development and testing purposes, with the ability to sync changes with the live installation.").
- Leave the other settings unchanged.
- Click Clone to start creating the staging environment.
Cloning usually takes a few minutes. You can monitor the progress via the status bar displayed during the process.
Once the staging environment has been created, you can immediately log in via the /wp-admin
link using Single Sign-On (SSO).
