Securing Your Magento Website with SSL

Log in to your Magento webshop with your username and password, and click Sign in.
In the left menu, click Stores and then under Settings click Configuration ( Stores > Settings > Configuration).
In the left menu, click Web.
Click Base URLs.
Ensure that the Base URL value starts with https://.
Click Base URLs (Secure).
Ensure that the Secure Base URL value starts with https://.
Change Use Secure URLs in Storefront and Use Secure URLs in Admin to Yes.
Click the Save Config button at the top right.

📌 Note:

After saving, you will see a yellow notification:
One or more of the Cache Types are invalidated: Configuration, Page Cache. Please go to Cache Management and refresh cache types.

Click Cache Management.
At the top, click Flush Magento Cache.

Your website or webshop is now secured with SSL.
When visiting your website or webshop, you will see a padlock icon appear in the address bar.
