Solution
More Information and Support
The firmware update tightened the modem’s firewall settings. As a result, port 21 is blocked by default, preventing traditional FTP connections from working.
You can easily resolve this issue by adjusting the modem's firewall security level:
Log in to your KPN modem via http://192.168.2.254.
Go to Settings > Security > Firewall.
Set the firewall to Low.
Save the changes.
📌 Note:
This adjustment is also recommended by KPN itself.
If you are unsure, it is best to contact KPN customer service for assistance.
